Carly Amurao
Dr. Carly Amurao grew up in the DC metropolitan area and completed her undergraduate degree in speech, language and hearing sciences from the University of Rhode Island. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of the Colorado Academy of Audiology, the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and obtained her ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A). Dr. Amurao moved to CO to complete her audiology clinical externship at a Neurotology office in Denver, CO. She quickly fell in love with the mountains and decided to make it her permanent home!
Dr. Amurao has experience in a range of clinical settings: hospital/ENT clinics, private practice, and clinical research positions. During her clinical externship, Dr. Amurao worked with pediatric and adult patients with an emphasis on diagnostics, implantable devices and hearing aids. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, and utilizes a patient-centered approach when treating individuals with hearing loss and tinnitus.
These experiences, in combination with her own lifelong hearing loss, have fueled her passion for hearing health and equipped her to provide compassionate patient-centered hearing care. Dr. Amurao understands first hand how hearing loss can impact your life, and she firmly believes in finding the best hearing solution for you and your lifestyle.
