Bio

Jonathan C. Mills, M.D. is a board certified Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon and treats the full spectrum of ear, nose and throat conditions. Special interests of his include sinus and nasal surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology.

Dr. Jonathan C. Mills grew up in Dallas, Texas and moved to Colorado with his wife and young children in 2013 to be close to family, who had lived in the area for many years. Of course, the allure of the mountains and outdoor activities played a role in their relocation as well! When not taking care of patients, Dr. Mills enjoys photography, hiking, snowboarding, marathon running, and of course chasing his kids around.

Dr. Jonathan C. Mills earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. During his time in St. Louis, he was very involved with his fraternity, organizing several charity events and even serving a term as president. Dr. Mills earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, where he graduated near the top of his class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He decided to pursue a career in medicine out of a passion for applying cutting edge science and technology, as well as art and creative thinking, toward improving the lives of others. “Medicine, and specifically Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat), gives me the opportunity to fulfill this passion in a very tangible way on a daily basis.” Dr. Mills completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Missouri. After residency, he worked for nearly two years in private practice in Highlands Ranch/Littleton and Castle Rock, and has been a part of Peak ENT since 2015.

Dr. Mills is a board certified Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon and treats the full spectrum of ear, nose and throat related conditions. Special interests of his include sinus and nasal surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology.

Dr. Mills shares the interest of Peak ENT’s other providers for the advancement of minimally invasive and office-based procedures. He has particular interest in performing in-office sinus and nasal surgery. Whereas only a few years ago, surgical treatment for sinus disease almost always involved a trip to the operating room and general anesthesia, many sinus disorders can now be safely treated with minimally invasive procedures in the office under local anesthesia, with minimal discomfort and fast recovery. Dr. Mills strives to stay on the forefront of this emerging technology, routinely performing office procedures such as balloon sinuplasty, inferior turbinate reduction, concha bullosa resection, polypectomy, and partial ethmoidectomy. Dr. Jonathan C. Mills is happily accepting new patients.
