Ona Reed
Ona is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of their special interest groups for Voice, Swallowing, Neurogenic Communication Disorders, Craniofacial and Velopharyngeal Disorders, and AAC.
Ona has experience in early intervention, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care and enjoys working with pediatric and adult populations. Ona received training from Manderly Cohen, M.S., CCC-SLP in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluations of Swallowing and Sensory Testing (FEESST) and holds certifications in LSVT LOUD and Feed the Peds. She has worked for Dr. Ramig, Ph.D., CCC-SLP at LSVT Global, Inc. for over five years and is a SLP Mentor for Google’s Project Euphonia.
Ona earned a Vocal Performance degree from the University of Denver and has over a decade of experience performing and working with professional voice users, singers, and musicians. She is passionate about the intersection of artistry and voice science as it relates to all voice users. She has attended NCVS’ Vocology Institute, has publications in the Journal of Voice and the Journal of Singing, and has presented at the Voice Foundation’s Voice Symposium.
